Jennifer is excited to join Maple Ridge Care Center as the new administrator. She recently graduated from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in Health Care Administration with an emphasis in long term care. She is originally from Green Bay (Go, Pack, Go) and moved to Eau Claire in 2015 when she started college.
Jennifer discovered her passion for long term care while volunteering at nursing homes and assisted living facilities during her high school years. She also worked as a dietary aide and completed the CNA course. As Administrator in Training at Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center, Jennifer received an exceptional amount of training. During her time with Spring Valley she had the opportunity to lead three leadership projects. The areas Jennifer studied diligently were increasing retention and employee satisfaction, improving overall dining experience for residents, staff and visitors, and analyzing a possible transition from a skilled nursing facility into a community based residential facility (assisted living). Jennifer says she is very excited to call Maple Ridge Care Center her new home.
In her family, Jennifer is the second youngest among three brothers and two sisters. She also has three nephews and a niece. Her youngest brother plays football at Minnesota State-Mankato which makes her a huge Mavericks football fan. She spends most weekends outdoors with my family and friends. A fun fact about Jennifer is that she has a pet llama named Kusco.
