Avoid spreading the flu
Updated: Jan 14, 2020
Did you know that people 65+ years of age are at higher risk for Influenza related hospitalizations?
Influenza season is underway and hitting the Northwest hard. For the health and well-being of our residents at Maple Ridge Care Center, we kindly ask that if you are feeling ill or have symptoms of body aches, fatigue, high fever, cough or sore throat that you reconsider your visit to another time. Stay home and take care of yourself. Maple Ridge is home to many seniors and we want to maintain a healthy environment by avoiding bringing Influenza in.
Others ways to avoid spreading the flu include covering coughs and sneezes, washing your hands regularly, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, limit contact with those who are already infected, and get a flu vaccine.
The staff at Maple Ridge Care Center wishes everyone a healthy holiday season!
